Be Honest! What will you do when you see me for the first time ?

By [Your Name]

Let’s not play games today.
Let’s not wear masks or hide behind scripted smiles.
Let’s be real.
Be honest.
What will you do when you see me for the first time?

Will you pause?
Will your eyes search my face like you’re trying to read a story written in my features?

Will you judge me based on my clothes, the way I walk, the way I speak?
Or will you notice the quiet things—the nervous way I play with my fingers, the way I look down when I smile?

Will you say hello right away, or will you hesitate, unsure of how to approach someone who maybe looks just a little too familiar… even if we’ve never met?

Will you smile?
Will your heart skip a beat?
Will you feel like you’ve known me in some other life?

Because truth is—I’ll notice everything.

I’ll notice the way your eyes light up (or don’t).
I’ll notice if you fidget, if you laugh too loud to hide the nerves, or if you speak softly like every word matters.

I’ll wonder what you’re thinking behind that expression.
I’ll wonder if you feel it too—that strange electricity, the curiosity, the tiny voice inside whispering, “This person might mean something.”

Maybe we’ll say just a few words.
Or maybe we’ll talk for hours, like time never existed before that moment.
Maybe we’ll part ways with a simple goodbye…
Or maybe that moment will be the start of everything.

But here’s the thing:
No matter how it goes,
No matter what you do or say,
I’ll be hoping you choose to see me for who I truly am—not just the surface.

So again, I ask—
Be honest.
When you see me for the first time,
What will you do?
